What you'll get on the call
-
1
A read on your actual water
Tell us your zip and we'll pull your local water profile — hardness, contaminants, and what it means for filtration and filter life.
-
2
An honest model recommendation
Based on your household size, kitchen layout, and budget — not on what we'd like to sell.

Straight answers on cost
Real pricing, what financing works out to monthly, and what ownership costs over 10 years.
Our promise on this call
If a less expensive machine is the right fit for your home, we'll tell you. If an ionizer isn't right for your situation at all, we'll tell you that too. You'll hang up knowing more than when you called — whether or not you ever buy from us.
Who you'll talk to
A Tyent water specialist — Averaging 8+ years in water treatment · not a commissioned call-center rep
I called expecting a sales pitch. He talked me out of the model I thought I wanted and into a cheaper one that fit my water better. That's when I decided to buy.
— Verified Tyent owner
Ready when you are — most calls take about 15 minutes.

You don't need to prepare anything — but if you have these handy, the call goes further.
- Your zip code. It's how we pull your local water report and tell you whether you'll need a pre-filter.
- How many people drink water at home. Household size drives which plate count and capacity make sense.
- A rough idea of your sink setup. Countertop or under-counter changes the recommendation and the install conversation.
- Any quote you've already been given. If a distributor quoted you, bring the number — we'll walk through what's actually in that price.
Questions people ask before calling
Is this a sales call?
It's a consultation. Our specialists are paid to help you make the right decision, not to close you on the phone. Plenty of calls end with "here's what to think about, call us back whenever" — and some end with us pointing you to a less expensive model than the one you asked about.
Will someone keep calling me afterward?
No. We'll follow up once by email with whatever we discussed — your water notes, the model we suggested, pricing. If you want more contact after that, you ask for it. We don't run a call-back campaign.
What if I'm just researching and not ready to buy?
That's most of the people we talk to. A water ionizer is a considered purchase and the research phase often runs weeks or months. It's genuinely fine to call, get your questions answered, and go think about it.
Can you tell me what's in my water?
Yes — give us your zip and we'll pull the most recent published data for your local utility: hardness, chlorine or chloramine treatment, and any contaminants of note. That's what determines whether your machine needs a pre-filter and how often you'll change filters.
How much does a Tyent cost?
Machines range from about $2,480 for the Edge up to $4,980 for the top under-counter models. Most people finance at 0%, which puts the flagship countertop around $111 a month. We'll give you exact numbers on the call — no "call for pricing" games.
What if I buy and then don't like it?
Every Tyent comes with a 75-day home trial, the longest in the category. If it's not right, send it back. In fairness, you cover return shipping and there's a 15% restocking fee on used returns — we'd rather tell you that now than have you find out later.
Do I need a plumber?
Countertop models connect to your existing faucet in about ten minutes with no tools. Under-counter models need a hole in the countertop and a proper connection, so most people use a plumber or a handy family member. We'll tell you honestly which install your kitchen suits.
